Latest Shoots

I've been trying to shoot with a friend of mine (Jazz) for awhile now but our free time never really gave us the opportunity. Just over a week ago we did a crazy 3 hour session before heading into London to party the night away. I'll post some notes on the shoot in the next few days.

Two days ago was the inaugural Essex Strobist Meetup shoot born from a few members of the London Strobist Meetup group on Flickr that realised that we all live fairly near each other just outside of London. The day was awesome, the venue was amazing and the models were all outstanding! The only problem on the day was that it went really fast, but I've just finished sorting through the frames and I can't believe how great they came out. It was definitely a shoot that allowed me to start fulfilling one of my main new years resolutions of shooting in a different style than I'm used to.

More on that to come in the next week along with a walkthru of some of the photos from the day. For now here's a photo of my photography partner for the first part of the shoot Martin Malone helping me to test my lighting set up whilst we waited for the models to arrive on set.
